Christmas Tree

Here is a keepsake for each Christmas to come. This year my son and I made this.  He really enjoyed the finger painting and putting sticker ornaments on the tree.

What you will need:

Cardboard ( We used a box that diapers came in)
Green, Red and White non-toxic finger paints
Sparkle Stickers ( we found our at Dollarama, you can also find sticky sparkle sheets there and at scrapbook stores)
Scissors
Marker or pencil to draw your outline of your tree

Step 1: Cut up cardboard box so you have a flat piece of cardboard and draw a tree shape with a flat bottom.

Step 2: Cut out your shape and trace it onto another piece of cardboard.

Step 3: Cut a slot into the top of one of your trees, and a slot into the bottom of the other so they slot together to make a 3D tree.

Step 4: Paint your cardboard trees green, and let dry.

Step 5: Finger paint using the white and red paint with your little one; on the tree to look like garland and snow.

Step 6: After the tree is dry add sparkle stickers in ordainment shapes onto the tree with your little one.

Step 7: Enjoy your tree for years to come :)
